Hawks alumni soccer game set for Sunday
The Olathe East soccer program’s annual alumni game is set for Sunday.
The women’s game is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. followed by the men’s alumni contest at the Hawks’ on-campus turf practice field.
Seniors who graduated in odd years should wear black and those who graduated in even years should wear white.
All are invited.
MNU announces volleyball camp
MidAmerica Nazarene University’s volleyball team, which is the reigning Heart of America Athletic Conference champion, will play host to a High School Volleyball Prep Camp on Aug. 11.
The camp, which costs $60, will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If six players from the same school register, the cost drops to $50. It drops to $40 with 10 players from the same school.

Pioneers to play football at ODAC this year
With the home grandstand at Pioneer Stadium deemed unsafe by structural engineers, MidAmerica Nazarene University’s football team will play its home games at the Olathe District Activity Center for the 2012 season.
The Pioneers, who open the season ranked No. 5 in the nation, play their first home game at ODAC at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 against No. 9 Missouri Valley.
