Joel Branstrom had heralded the arrival of freshman Kelsey Brooks since the start of the season, but Olathe Northwest's girls squad finally got to see what the fuss was about Monday at Shawnee Mission North.
Behind Brooks' game-high 15-point outburst, the Ravens rolled to a 39-33 win, the fourth straight after a 10-game losing skid this season.
ONW, which also got seven points from senior Amber Ramsey and six from junior Mackaela Carter, led 20-14 at halftime and held its ground in the second half.
