SAMUEL A. MURPHY

Samuel A. Murphy, 28, Olathe, Kan., passed away Dec. 16, 2009. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8714 Antioch Rd., Overland Park, Kan. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Kansas City VA Medical Center, 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64128. Sam was born Oct. 17, 1981, in Wichita, Kan. He attended Topeka Adventist School in Topeka, Kan., Minnetonka Christian Academy, Minnetonka, Minn., and Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, Kan. He was a self-employed carpenter.
