Olathe police have identified a suspect in an aggravated robbery that was reported Saturday night and is a “person of interest” in two other cases now under investigation.

Authorities are searching for David R. Ward, 30. He’s described as white, 5-foot-7, weighing 150 pounds. He reportedly has short, brown hair and usually wears glasses.

They say he’s a “person of interest” in connection with a robbery of a Subway store on South Blackbob on Nov. 4 and the burglary of another Subway store South Alden on Nov. 1.

Ward may be traveling in a tan or gold-colored midsize vehicle, police said. He’s also been linked to a silver sedan as well. He could be accompanied by a 6-foot male between 40 and 60 years old. Ward is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
