Ryan Weber or Brett Jensen. It didn't really matter who was running the football Friday when Gardner-Edgerton traveled to Spring Hill for a Frontier League showdown.
The No. 3 team in The Kansas City Star's big class poll, the Trailblazers ended the upstart Broncos' two-game win streak with an authoritative 55-0 victory.
Gardner-Edgerton has now outscored its opponents 255-36 this season and owns three shutouts.
Against Spring Hill, Weber owned four touchdown runs, while Jensen found the end zone three times and finished with 159 yards rushing on 14 carries. The duo seemed to score at will.
Weber had 14- and 4-yard TD runs in the first quarter, while Jensen added a 3-yard score in the second quarter as the Blazers took a 21-0 lead into halftime.
Weber added touchdown runs of 1 and 27 yards in the third quarter, which also featured a 12-yard TD pass to Jensen from Tanner Webb.
Jensen added a 6-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, while Clayton Dye capped the scoring with a 9-yard TD burst.
