Bubba Starling took a backseat, but Gardner-Edgerton didn't miss a beat Friday in a 40-0 home rout against Louisburg.
Pitting two of the three remaining Frontier League unbeatens — Eudora also is undefeated — the Trailblazers turned to tailback Brett Jensen to shoulder the load and he responded with 209 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries.
Gardner-Edgerton senior Justin Berry kicked off the blowout with an 80-yard TD run, while Jensen followed with TD runs of 56 and 18 yards for a 21-0 halftime lead.
Taylor Stubler had a 1-yard scoring plunge for the only third-quarter points. Jensen then added 7- and 52-yard TD runs in the fourth.
The Trailblazers improved to 4-0.
