Lucille Holt

Lucille Holt, 99, passed away June 22, 2009, at the Evergreen Nursing Center in Olathe, Kan. Burial will be at the East View Cemetery in Union City, Tenn., Thurs., June 25, 2009, at 2 p.m. Lucille was born on Feb. 10, 1910, in Gleason, Tenn. She was the second of eight children of Ben and Altie Mae Robertson. All are now deceased. Lucille was small of stature, but had a big heart. She loved to laugh and travel and have a good time. She made friends wherever she went. She married Henry Holt Nov. 18, 1930. They celebrated their 60th Anniversary in 1990 with a large party and received a plaque from the Mayor of Dyersburg, Tenn. They had no children but are survived by many nieces and nephews in Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri and Carol and Allen Coombs of Olathe. To leave a message for the family, visit www.penwellgabel.com.
