It's been three years since a Kansas 6A softball squad reached the state tournament without a blemish on its record, but Olathe Northwest gave itself that very opportunity next week with a 3-1, 9-0 sweep Tuesday against Olathe South at the College Boulevard Activity Center.

The Ravens, who were the 6A runner-up last year, finished the regular season 20-0 and repeated as Sunflower League champions, finishing the league slate 11-0.

Aces Hannah Dale and Jacinda Ramos each improved to 10-0 in the sweep.

Dale struck out 12 in the opener, finishing the season with 101 strikeouts and a 0.39 ERA.

Kendra Wright went 4-for-4 and Ramos was 3-for-4 in that win.

Ramos, who also went 3-for-5 in the nightcap, struck out seven as ONW dominated the regular-season finale. She finished with a 0.55 ERA.

Amy Pierce had a double and triple, while Maddie Lovsky and Peyton Jones each went 3-for-4.
