Clay County plans two H1N1 vaccine clinics

Clay County health officials have announced two H1N1 flu clinics for high-priority groups. Free shots and the FluMist will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to Clay County residents only.

The first clinic, targeting children 6 months to 4 years old and pregnant women, runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Antioch Bible Baptist Church, 800 N.E. 72nd St. in Gladstone.

A second clinic will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 N. Missouri 291. It is for pregnant women, health care workers, children 6 months to 4 years old and people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months or children age 5 to 18 who have chronic medical conditions.
