At a recent Johnson County Bar Association lunch meeting, state Chief Justice Robert Davis sounded the warning alarms on the impact that the Kansas budget crisis is having on court systems across Kansas, including the Johnson County District Court in Olathe. The state budget set aside money for the court system from the state general fund, 98 percent of which supports salaries and benefits for court employees.
