HONOR L. DAVIES
Honor L. Davies, 94, of Independence, Mo., passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at Royal Terrace Nursing and Rehab Center in Olathe, Kan.
Honor was born on July 27, 1915, in Senlac, Sasketchewan, Canada, to William and Clarissa Cornish. She married Maurice V. Davies on April 12, 1938, in Senlac. Honor was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, five brothers and two sisters, as well as her mother who died when she was small. Survivors include daughters, Kay (Stan) Spence, of Camrose, Alberta, Maxine (Larry) Griffin, of Olathe and son, Lyle (Paula) Davies, of Independence, six grandchildren: Cheri, Vicki, Michael, Deana, Traci and Thomas; six great-grandchildren: Dustin, Danielle, Autumn, Abigail, Nathan and Ben and one great-grandchild who will arrive next year as well as one great, great-grandchild to arrive as well.
