Step UP program graduates class of 59

Fifty-nine students recently graduated from Step UP, a high school diploma completion program.

Ceremonies were conducted May 9 at Center of Grace, 520 S. Harrison, Olathe.

Step Up is for students 18 or older whose classes have graduated. Classes are provided through Greenbush (South East Kansas Educational Service Center) in Girard, Kan.

The program works with the Olathe, Blue Valley, Gardner Edgerton and Spring Hill school districts. More than 380 students have graduated since 2001.
